Turntables pick up vibration and low-end feedback from nearby speakers, which can make records skip or howl.
Warmth without harshness
Records have a character of their own. The system has to bring out that warmth and detail, not flatten it.
Turntables up front
With the decks at the center of the room, booth placement shaped the whole layout.
Our approach
How we handled it.
We set the turntables on a solid booth and positioned the speakers to keep low-end energy away from the decks.
The Air Motions were tuned for warm, detailed playback so every record sounded the way the selectors intended.
The result
A listening-first vinyl session with warm, detailed sound and no feedback at the decks.
